Overview
Built for the V60/high-grammage market—the Smart Line DC (L-Size) fills and envelopes up to 16 g drip coffee bags with vacuum dosing and nitrogen flush.
The Smart Line DC (L-Size) is dph Maschinenbau's drip coffee bag packaging machine for higher-grammage bags of up to 16 g ground coffee—developed for markets such as Saudi Arabia where the V60 pour-over standard demands a larger dose. It combines fill-and-seal of the drip coffee bag (Module 1) and the outer envelope (Module 2) in a single machine, using a vacuum feeder for consistent dosing and nitrogen flushing to protect aroma and freshness. It runs Rectangular, Cone and Skyline formats, each with an outer envelope, at up to 36 bags/min in the 16 g L-Size. An optional End-of-Line module (1×10 cartoning) is recommended above roughly 100 bags/min.
